What equipment is provided for kids tennis?
Tennis racquets and balls are provided for the kids tennis. Mini nets are on court for mini red tennis and all other equipment – cones, hoops, throw down lines, skipping ropes – are all provided for the coaching. Kids are required to wear sports kit and trainers.

What happens if it rains?
The lesson will be on come rain or shine. If the rain is too heavy to be on the courts the lesson will take place in the club house with a variety of activities including table tennis, quizzes, aerobic exercises and games.

What happens from November to April when Drummond is shut?
Sophie can work at other venues depending on demand and Sophie also works with Active Schools and the Edinburgh racquet development team who run programmes during this period.

What is your cancellation policy?
Payment is required in advance of each block of tennis and if any classes have to be cancelled an additional class will be scheduled.

Is there a clubhouse at Drummond?
There is a clubhouse at Drummond where parents can have tea and coffee during the classes.

Do you offer discounts for members of Drummond Tennis Club?
Yes Drummond members get a discount for all classes.
Individual and family membership is available at very reasonable rates.
